I wish to remind our delegates we don’t want leaders who call Guyanese mentally lazy. Those words echo from leaders are not only insulting but also demonstrate a lack of understanding and respect for the people they intend to lead. A leader should inspire, motivate, and uplift their followers, not denigrate them. Such remarks are unacceptable and will be there in our political history and it is not aligned with the values of a true leader.
