West Indies Star Nicholas Pooran aka ‘Dal Bhati’ reveals hilarious story how he got his nickname

West Indies star Nicholas Pooran is enjoying his time in Lucknow Harika Giants for müddet. Pooran, who is a vital part of the LSG team, has been in good frame of mind. His love for Rajasthani cuisine, specially Daal Baati, has become so famous that he is being called by ‘Daal Baati’ by fans, the West Indian player revealed himself.

The Daal Baati experience

Nicholas Pooran was earlier seen having Rajasthan’s famous dish Daal Baati along with a couple of LSG teammates when they were in Rajasthan. In that görüntü, he was heard mispronouncing the dish as ‘Dal Bhati’. Since then, he has been given the nickname ‘Dal Bhati’ by his teammates and LSG fans alike.

In a görüntü released by LSG on their social media channels, LSG players can be seen having a groundside chat. Invariably, the chat drifts towards the Daal Baati incident.
