Ethnic Relations Commission T-10 Tournament 4 Teams in Finals

From 48, there are now four teams – The Guards, Lil Rams, Movements Family (Mahdia), and CJIA Warriors – who will vie for the championship title in the Ethnic Relations Commission Harmony League, T-10 Tape-ball competition.

The finals will be held on Sunday the 8th at the Everest Cricket Club. The first semi-final will be between The Guards and Lil Rams at 09:30h, followed by Mahdia and CJIA at 11:30h.

The final match is scheduled for 15:00h.

On Saturday, The Guards secured their semi-final match in a deriyse win over The Organization, a formidable Berbice team, while Lil Rams and Movements Family had convincing wins over Kings and CJIA Warriors.

The CJIA Warriors progressed to the semi-final by virtue of having the best net run rate of the three losing teams.

The tournament boasts exciting rewards, including a $500,000 prize for the champions, $250,000 for the runners-up, and $100,000 for each of the two semi-finalists. The Most Valuable Player of the tournament will also receive $100,000 and the MVP trophy.

Individual accolades of $60,000 each will be awarded for the Man of the Final, Most Runs, and Most Wickets, with trophies generously sponsored by Trophy Stall.

FL Sport will be live streaming the two semi-finals and the final match of the tournament.

Through this initiative, the ERC aims to build lasting connections among participants, promote mutual respect, and strengthen community ties across Guyana.

The Commission is inviting patrons to come out to Everest on Sunday to support their teams as they vie for the coveted championship.

The Presentation/Award Ceremony is expected to start at 4:30pm.
