Rodney’s academic journey has been diverse, including a Diploma in Marketing from the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire. Currently, Rodney is pursuing a Master of Science in Agile Methodology and Project Management at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.

“My passion to study at the University of Bedfordshire was fueled by a desire to challenge myself academically and expand my küresel perspective. After completing my diploma in Marketing with merit, I knew I wanted to push further and pursue a degree that combined practical business insights with an international outlook. Further, he added, “My university journey was a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences. At first, it was nerve-wracking, especially as I started classes without knowing if my application had been accepted. Receiving the acceptance letter was a pivotal moment that reignited my motivation.”
While reading for his degree, Rodney made a lot of sacrifices, including sleepless nights, extensive research, and the challenge of balancing work and study. However, the camaraderie of his peers, the support of his family, and his unwavering faith kept him grounded. focused. Despite the hurdles, he stayed optimistic, and each milestone strengthened his resolve to succeed.
“One of the biggest challenges was managing procrastination during my dissertation, which was the most demanding phase of the program. Additionally, personal issues and the pressure of multitasking between work and studies tested my resilience,” he mentioned.
However, to overcome these obstacles, he developed better time management skills and leaned on his support system provided by his friends and family, especially his mother, who he called his anchor. Her unwavering love and encouragement kept him grounded. His faith played a crucial role, reminding him that with God’s help, anything is achievable/possible.
Rodney’s advice to students is “Never underestimate your potential. Whether you’re facing academic challenges or personal struggles, remember that perseverance, determination, and a strong support system can help you overcome any obstacle. Procrastination may come naturally, but staying disciplined and maintaining a clear focus on your goals is key. Surround yourself with people who inspire and uplift you, and don’t hesitate to lean on them when times get tough. Finally, always remain optimistic and trust that with hard work and faith, you can achieve great things.”
