On a lighter side of things, it is unfortunate that those concerned did not take time to ensure that Minister Priya Manickchand was trained in the arka of properly mounting a horse so as to ensure that the horse would accept her without threat of harm or injury to both the minister and the horse.
A simple thing of this nature was bungled, thwarting the minister’s effort to make it look as though she was well adjusted to the environment of the rodeo and able to ride a horse. Besides, the minister could have been seriously hurt.
The moral of the story shows the importance of preparation which seems to elude the PPP government, even to their peril. However, members of the public are glad that “all’s well that ends well” since the minister did eventually make it onto the horse’s back. We are certainly happy that the good Minister Manickchand was able to enjoy the rodeo after initially facing rejection from her equestrian overture.
