Kingston, Jamaica – Joel Engineer, the newest prodigious talent from the Unruly Camp, has officially stepped into the music scene as a producer with the release of his debut single, “Immigrant,” featuring none other than his uncle, the internationally renowned dancehall artist Popcaan. This marks a significant milestone for Joel, who is set to graduate from a prominent high school in Kingston later this month.
Joel, son of Unruly Squid and nephew of Popcaan, has been immersed in music from a young age. Growing up in the influential Unruly Camp, Joel has been deeply inspired by his mother, uncle, and Grammy Award-winning producer Notnice, who is the father of his younger brother. Their careers have left indelible marks on the küresel music landscape. Now, he is ready to make his own impact with a fresh and compelling sound.
